Electronic Music for the Future
RAID RECORDINGS is a boutique label specializing in the release and development of electronic music for the future, with offices in London and Los Angeles. RAID is an artist and song focused, recordings, publishing and synch brand, representing global talent and is in conjunction with our global partner Strictly Rhythm Records in NYC.
We nurture and develop commercially viable dance music talent, and also work directly alongside the film, TV & movie trailer community, enabling growth and development of each artist through targeted placement & strategic social media marketing plus digital music sales, artist tours, RAID branded merchandise and RAID events.
RAID is the new music production label from Ben Cherrill, a globally respected music executive from the UK, who has created a licensing centric, boutique dance & pop music imprint. Ben’s expertise within the international music industry lies specifically within A&R, music supervision, artist & brand development & strategic music led campaigns, having held senior positions within several major music companies.
With more than 20 years experience in the UK music & media industries, Ben has a proven track record of success within major label artist development, strategic music marketing & promotion, specialist music compilations, music supervision & soundtracks, synch licensing, magazine publishing, web development, event management plus music retail and music distribution.
Considerable expertise within ‘Dance A&R’ has seen Ben sign, develop and promote the careers of many globally respected recording artists, DJs and producers, specializing in the world of mainstream electronic music.
He has also played an integral role in developing music operations and strategy within some of the most successful youth music brands, namely Positiva Records (EMI UK), Manifesto Records (Universal Music UK), Hi-Life Recordings (Universal Music UK) and also Global Underground Music (Ministry of Sound UK). He has personally delivered more than 30 Top 40 Hits in the UK, with many reaching the Top 5 in sales, radio and TV airplay charts. To date the combined global sales of all album, singles and compilation projects boasting his creative involvement is in excess of 20 million units.
